- Parenting Skills Training specific to ASD/Asperger’s children
- Educational Advocacy
- Social Skills Training
- Anger Management
- Individual Therapy to work on emotional and self esteem issues arising from Asperger’s/ASD
- Effectively managing ASD/Asperger’s in the workplace
- Couple Therapy to work on those ASD/Asperger’s issues that impact on a relationship
- A safe space to work on social skills
- Career Consulting
The staff of The Institute for Family Development has been diagnosing and treating children, adolescents and adults with Asperger’s Syndrome and related problems for over 10 years.
- We use a combination of "cutting-edge" technology and "tried-and-true" methods in our evaluation and treatment services.
- We take the time needed to collect all relevant information in order to form a more comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plan. Because we believe that YOU are an important member of your diagnostic and treatment team, we take the time to listen to what you have to say, answer your questions, educate you about your treatment and consult with you.
- We work with other health care providers, including Speech/Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists and Developmental Pediatricians, for a more thorough evaluation and treatment program.
